It’s been a while and today I was stuck on an older machine trying to upgrade a broken mysql update.
I had this error during the sudo apt upgrade command:

Starting from Chrome 61+, modules syntax has been steady implemented in Chrome. Today (Chrome 65), I felt like refractoring one of my extensions to benefit of it.

As discussed in this StackOverflow question, when encoding/decoding an url it may happen that some combination of characters ends up being converted.
I got tricked while encoding an URL with a “currency” GET parameter:
http://www.example.com¤cy=EU -> http://www.example.com¤cy=EUIn HTML, the ¤ combination is interpreted as the ¤ (currency) character.
Thus the first part “¤” was converted into “¤” and the remaining part of the parameter “cy” was left as is.
A silly issue indeed 🙂

You may have noticed while monitoring a touchmove event that the e.target value represents the element where the touch event began.
While on mousemove the target is always the element under the mouse cursor, on touch it seems to behave differently.
In order to retrieve that element, we can only identify it from the touch event coordinates as it follows:

return e.target;
}e.touches is a TouchList. It lists all the Touch objects for touch points that are currently in contact with the touch surface, regardless of whether or not they’ve changed or what their target element was at touchstart time.
If the event has no TouchList defined, the e.target can be taken as a fallback (in case of mouse events).
This way we implemented a single function that works with both mouse and touch events.

Making Material Design Lite (MDL) work with Vue.js is fairly easy.
After adding MDL javascript, the CSS framework parse the DOM in order to enable events listeners required to provide certain behaviors (example: input validations). Since our Vue components are added after MDL has scanned the DOM, we should re-run a scan on each element we are adding asynchronously.

You made need to put the browser’s focus on a scrollable element, just after rendering.
Using the element.focus() is the good way to go but there a couple of tricks you should be aware of.
If you encounter this error while doing a brew install, it seems that your caches folder requires ownership. Try to run the following command in your terminal:
sudo chown -R $USER /Library/Caches/Homebrew/Have a great day!

This error happens when you try to run a Webpack v1 config file with Webpack v2+.
In order to fix it change the attribute name of resolve.packageMains to resolve.mainFields inside your webpack configuration file.
